I'm a painter, printmaker (screenprinting for the political stuff, linoleum printing for the artistic stuff) and a vegan. I made this site specifically to showcase my oil painting, but the added benefit of being able to sell a number of patch designs that were *banned from sale* on etsy also sorta worked out, so here we are!

I work in oil paint, from both photos and in real life. If you like what you see, I am sure we can come to some agreement on price; these canvases deserve more than a life of hiding in my studio corner.

As for an artist statement, I would say my work deals with the relationships and interactions we have with the natural world. I paint, in oil, landscapes I am drawn towards; and then, I paint incongruous, often humorous, trompe l'oeil aspects to add a layer of our human, personal alterations of that landscape. I work often within series of painting ideas - "Unchopping A Tree", "One Star Reviews", and "Birds With Gold Leaves", among others. I enjoy landscape painting on site, even when I set up on an ant hill on accident.
